Laundry Position – Part Time /Full Time

Laundry person is responsible for doing the laundry at Phillips-Strickland House. Tasks include picking up soiled laundry in residents’ rooms, sorting clothes, loading washer and dryer and folding clothes. Ironing as necessary, and returning cleaned clothes to residents. Visiting with residents is encouraged when time allowed. It is the responsibility of the housekeeper to keep residents’ rooms free from hazardous items and stocked with the necessary supplies. Safety issues are to be reported immediately to the Director of Environmental Services.
